Flyers for the World Hearing Day activity planned by the Local Catholic community church at Korle-Bu was made available on the social media platform of St Luke Catholic Church, a week before the event.
The Ear, Nose, and Throat Resource personnels, led by the ENT Specialist (Dr Anita Ndaa Zumah) gave a health talk at the Catholic community church (St Luke) to understand the early signs of hearing loss and erase some of the misconceptions about hearing care, in attendance where children, men and women across all age groups. it was a very interactive talk.
Ear Screening was done for all church members present by 4 ENT doctors using oto-endoscopes. Cases that needed further management were referred to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and 37 Military hospital based on patients proximity.
