On February 28, 2024, President Ni Xin, a well-known expert in ENT, and Professor Zheng Jun，were interviewed by China Media Group on “The First Time”. Ni Xin introduced the current situation of birth defects with hearing loss in China, as well as the new progress in the construction of neonatal hearing screening, diagnosis, intervention, and rehabilitation system. Professor Zheng Jun introduced hearing AIDS and cochlear implant intervention technology in detail. On March 1, Ma Ning and other experts from ENT formed a free consultation team and went to the kindergarten of the Space Agency to carry out the theme of “Protect Your Ears and Listen to the Future”. Hearing screening and health care knowledge lectures were given to 105 children. The medical team composed of Zhai Shifen et al. carried out the nursing, diagnosis and treatment of ear and hearing related diseases for the parents of the children.
