We sponsored speakers about constructive attitudes to hearing aimed at older adults, their families, and the general public. The events were both online and in person. We began on 2 March with a videotaped interview on Facebook, with audiologist Dr. Rasha Kaberty. An online event usually generates more interest for our live events. 53 persons viewed the online interview, and it will be posted to our YouTube collection of wellness information. On 4 March, Dr. Leila Mansour and Dr. Zeinab Heida spoke about changing attitudes at the Barakat House for Care of Older Adults, which was well attended (48 persons). The three WHD banners set the stage for the event. On March 5, Dr. Zeinab Heida spoke about practical hearing care to 33 of our members at our monthly birthday party. The live events were especially good for listeners to be able to discuss their questions and concerns.
