In the spirit of World Hearing Day 2024 themed “Ear and hearing care for all,” Abeng & Egbe ENT Foundation, embarked on a compassionate journey across three distinct locations. Commencing on March 2nd at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Hall, Akim Navy Barracks Calabar, we offered a free Ear, Nose, and Throat Health outreach. Our mission encompassed Health Education, Consultation/Screening, and tender ear wax removal, ensuring everyone felt seen and cared for.Continuing on March 3rd 2024, we extended our embrace to the residents of the Home Of the Aged at Target by Maryslessor Roundabout Calabar, sharing Health Talks, consultations, and ear cleaning services. Culminating on March 9th with a radio program at FAD-fm 93.1 radio station Calabar, alongside the esteemed Association of Resident Doctors UCTH-Calabar, we engaged in a meaningful dialogue on “Managing Hearing Loss Through Better Access To Healthcare.”
These collective endeavors epitomized our commitment to this year’s celebration.
