Every year, Mongolian Otolaryngologists celebrate World Hearing Day. This year, the Otolaryngologists working at
private and public hospitals have planned to organize various events to increase awareness and provide information
about hearing loss and its prevention. Almost 35 private and public hospitals in both the urban and rural areas of
Mongolia came together to raise awareness about hearing loss and promote ear and hearing care. The hospitals
provided many activities such as free hearing screenings, consultations, and workshops to educate the public on the
importance of hearing health. This effort aimed to encourage people to take better care of their hearing and seek early
intervention if necessary. One of the most noteworthy aspects of this year’s event was the strategy of leveraging social
media to increase participation and engagement. By utilizing various social media channels such as Facebook and
Instagram, the organizers were able to reach out to wider audience.
