The Universal Association of Clinical Audiologists (UACA) in association with The Telangana Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists Association (TASLPA) observed the World Hearing Day 2024 by conducting Free Ear & Hearing Screening Camp in Paramount Residency in Nagaram, Hyderabad on 3rd March 2024. The information about the camp was circulated to total Nagaram Municipality public around 45,000 people and nearly 500 members were attended the camp and got Free Ear & Hearing Screening by team of Doctors. Municipal Chairman, Municipal Commissioner and the politicians of Congress, BJP, BRS, TDP parties and JAC leaders were attended the program as Guests and appreciated the team UACA efforts in conducting the camp. The team of doctors Dr.Nagender Kankipati, Dr.Imad Khan Ruman, Dr.Arif Shaik, Dr.Hanmi Reddy, Prof.Dr.Rajendra Kumar, Dr.Yousufuddin and Dr.Lakshmi Prasanna did free ear and hearing screening to all the patients and created them awareness about hearing loss by using WHO publicity materials.
