The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery of Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University celebrated the 2024 World Hearing Day, also the 25th National Ear Care Day on March 3rd, 2024 with the theme of ” aid hearing with technology and enjoy a better life”. They organized series of activities which strengthen the importance of ears, including free clinical treatments and medical science lectures in community hospitals. They also provided series of online lectures to tell people about the ear care knowledge, detailed introduction about the application and daily care of hearing aid products. Children, teenagers, the aged and high-risk occupational groups were the main objects profiting from the activities. The events organized by Beijing Friendship Hospital has been successfully fulfilled, enhancing people’s understanding and participation of ear care and laying a solid foundation for achieving a healthier and more harmonious life through enhancing ear care.
