The “Community Sensitization Program on Deafness and Hearing Loss” in 10 Jaipur villages on March 1st was notably successful. In our extensive campaign, we distributed materials for World Hearing Day, and a focused educational session at villages , school and orphanage in jaipur targeted local community , marginalzed kids , school students and parents , emphasizing WHO messages on early identification, prevention, and management of hearing loss. At the village level, awareness events reached 800 individuals, extending to 350 schools kids through transmedia storytelling on World Hearing Day. This strategic approach aimed to raise awareness about hearing loss, emphasizing the vital need for hearing tests, especially for children, including newborns. These initiatives collectively fostered a more informed and inclusive community perspective on hearing impairments.
