Last March 3, 2024, the UP-PGH Department of ORL-HNS and Philippine National Ear Institute celebrated World Hearing Day by providing free ear cleaning and hearing screening services to school children aged 7 to 10 years old residing in nearby barangays in Manila. In addition, proper ear and hearing care were imparted to the children and their accompanying guardians through the “Si HEARo” coloring booklet, which contains a short story about the importance of our ears.
