We started our hospital celebration hearing program by lighting the candle .
Camp was organized at nearby Godawari , Dhangadhi involving around 400 patients on the hearing day . Around 50 were suspected hearing loss was identified and provided with instructions keep ear dry, avoid noise and trauma, audiological assessment at subsidized cost at the hospital etc.The next day, we approached for the school health program at nearby boarding school, Uttarbehadi ,Dhangadhi with the principal and few staffs. We could screen around 100 students out of which only 4 had hearing issues. We promised the fully waived hearing facility for them in our hospital.
Audiologist service was thus provided for the screened patients in our hospital . They were counseled and hearing Aids trial was done leaving a joy in their faces.
