The 3rd conference “Have you heard – noise is harmful?” was organized by ATEST – Ochrona Pracy and 3M Poland (3M Innovation Center, Wroclaw, Poland, March 4th, 2024). The conference focused on the topic of harmful noise exposure during concerts, mass events, headphone usage, and learning to play musical instruments. The conference adopted an open-access panel discussion format, allowing the public to engage with experts from various fields including Occupational Medicine, Audiology, Sound Engineering, and Music. The event attracted 300+ attendees (on-line & on-site) included representatives from Governmental and Market Surveillance Bodies, Universities, Professional Safety Associations, Hospitals, and hearing enthusiasts. The conference provided a platform for attendees to ask questions and share their thoughts on hearing challenges. The WHD and the conference were promoted through social media (10000 people reach) and in printed issues of ATEST (4000 copies). The conference was recorded and is available on the ATEST website.
