This Event we witnessed more than 2000 participants, including over 250 hearing-impaired children, to run in “The Sports Gurukul’s Schoolathon,” This marathon was aimed to spread the powerful message of “Changing Mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a Reality for All.”
Founder Trustee Devangi Dalal stated, “Josh always aims at changing the perception of people towards the hearing impaired and this year’s theme of World Hearing Day was also Changing Mindset, hence we thought an inclusive marathon will be best to showcase even Hearing Impaireds are capable to be like us”.
Actress Gauahar Khan, the Chief Guest, enthusiastically engaged with the participants, praising the concept.
Dr. Jayant Gandhi Founder & Trustee of the Josh Foundation mentioned “We need to integrate the hearing impaired into society as assets rather than liabilities.
Josh Foundation also donated Digital Hearing Aids to 180 underprivileged children supported by Atos and Inventia.
