Be Innovative (in Hearing Care) Challenge 2024

Primary site: WPR – New Zeland / Tokelau
Additional site(s):

To change everyone’s mindsets, we called upon a challenge for all of us to think more innovatively about hearing health and hearing care this WHD2024. In this collaborative project, the Eisdell Moore Centre and the academic researchers at the University of Auckland ran a small outreach competition named “Be Innovative Challenge 2024”. We asked the general public and university students to enter their ideas around “What is your idea for hearing aids/technology that you would be thrilled to have?” We have many entries over the month of March. Due to the popularity, we have extended our initiative so that we can take this to local school outreaches happening in April-May. Through this engaging, fun activity, we can continue the conversation towards thinking about what they really want in future hearing care and technologies and thinking about participating by sharing their ideas.
