Title: World Hearing Day 2023: Engaging Agencies to utilize a Primary Care Approach in Ear and Hearing Care (EAR CARE)
Description: Our institute actively responded to the National Institutes of Health’s call for action to transform the Philippine health systems through research for universal healthcare. We engaged with policymakers and government officials, and extended our commitment to the community by providing free video-otoscopy and hearing screenings to 60 University of the Philippines members. Furthering our health education efforts, we organized a TikTok contest featuring ear and hearing health infographics, which received over 4,000 views. Additionally, we distributed 4,000 coloring booklets to children, filled with activities and stories that emphasize the importance of ear and hearing care.
