Title: Pay attention to children’s hearing healthcare
Description: Our team organized a series of learning activities for World Hearing Day. Expert lectures provided consultation for children and parents on the hearing screening process, understanding results, knowledge about the genetic causes of hearing loss, and intervention strategies for hearing-impaired children. An expert in speech rehabilitation was also provided a platform to discuss their work and a group of children with hearing loss who have experienced successful rehabilitation was highlighted. Additionally discussed was the Nanjing Disabled Persons’ Federation’s policy for popularizing scientific knowledge. Lastly, free hearing aid adjustments were made available to attendees.
