Title: World Hearing Day – Ear and Hearing Care for All!
Description: On March 3, 2023, the Samvaad Institute of Speech and Hearing commemorated World Hearing Day by holding an event that drew 208 attendees. A total of 198 students and 10 teachers received hearing evaluations as well as educational pamphlets. The event spotlighted an exhibition and a series of discussions tailored for school students which highlighted the identification, prevention, and management of hearing loss. Additionally, the institute hosted a week-long free audiological screening program for the general public from March 1 to March 7, 2023 and organized hearing screening camps at multiple primary health centers across the city of Bangalore, India.
