Title: Hearing Health Among Quarry Workers

Description:

Our team conducted a health campaign focused on ear and hearing health for quarry workers, screening a third of the total workforce. This campaign aimed to raise awareness about noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and emphasized the significance of its early detection and prevention. The campaign included an ear examination and a knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) questionnaire to assess the workers’ understanding and attitudes towards NIHL. The results indicated that most of the workers had a good understanding and positive attitude towards NIHL prevention.
