Title: Ear and Hearing Care for All! Including Babies and Refugees
Description: In the spirit of World Hearing Day, our team hosted an educational event for the public regarding the prevention and treatment of hearing issues. The event featured a video montage, educational posters, and a number of booths from hearing aid companies. The 20th anniversary of the UNHS program was also celebrated, acknowledging its success in detecting congenital hearing losses for early management. In tandem with this, ear examinations and counseling were provided for refugees at neighboring humanitarian clinics. Approximately 150 refugees with ear-related issues such as active ear discharge and tinnitus were attended to.
