Description: On Friday, March 3, 2023, a full-day event was held at Masaka Regional Referral Hospital in Southwestern Uganda, orchestrated by the Otorhinolaryngology Society of Uganda (OSU). The event was inaugurated by representatives from the Ministry of Health, the hospital director, and the OSU president, along with other organizations involved in ear and hearing care. The day was filled with educational sessions on ear and hearing health, an outpatient ear health clinic, and a hearing screening for all attendees. This comprehensive event offered services to a total of 63 participants who not only gained knowledge but also underwent hearing screenings and received appropriate care.
