Title: World Hearing Day 2023: 3-Day Awareness Programme
Description: The three-day awareness event began with an opening ceremony and a keynote lecture on the importance of comprehensive ear and hearing care, held at the conference hall of the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The second day involved an informative talk show on Atlantic 104.5 FM Uyo and a free ear and hearing care outreach event at General Hospital Ikot Ekpene, which is 28 km away from Uyo. The final day saw another free ear and hearing care outreach event at the UUTH back in Uyo, during which 163 individuals were screened for common ear conditions, and 32 underwent ear cleanings.
