Title: Ear Cleaning and Social Service at Karangasem Village Hall
Description: For World Hearing Day 2023, our committee conducted a health education event on ear care and hearing screenings for 245 residents in the villages of Karang Asem and Paliyan in Gunung Kidul, an area of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The most prevalent issue discovered was excessive earwax buildup. Additionally, two instances of foreign objects in the ear were detected, along with three cases of presbycusis.
