Title: Hearing Disability Awareness
Description: An accessible remote training session was conducted, targeted at caregivers of individuals with hearing loss and businesses aiming to improve deaf awareness. The objective was to foster a more inclusive environment for those with hearing impairments by offering improved experiences. The session encompassed my personal journey with hearing loss, an understanding of deafness, the Social Model of Disability, the difficulties faced by those with hearing impairments, enhanced communication methods, additional aids, and hearing preservation strategies. To broaden the reach, this training is now freely available on podcast and YouTube.
