Description: The Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery commemorated World Hearing Day 2023 with a range of activities. These included community-based initiatives such as screening 51 primary school children from Changsari Lower Primary School on March 1, 2023. The screenings revealed that some children had issues with ear wax and a few suffered from chronic ear diseases with hearing impairment. Additionally, an institutional activity was conducted in the form of a poster competition for MBBS students. The competition’s theme was, “Ear and Hearing Care for All: Let’s Make it a Reality,” emphasizing the importance of universal ear and hearing care.
