Title: School Ear and Hearing Health Program to Avert Preventable Hearing Loss
Description: On World Hearing Day, Ear Care Nepal (ECN) marked the occasion by launching a school ear health program in two government schools, screening and treating 1,482 children for ear diseases and hearing loss. The children were educated about ear and hearing health using locally developed materials. ECN also participated in an awareness rally, culminating in a media briefing event. Here, representatives from several organizations shared their intentions and strategies to further promote ear and hearing health in Nepal.
