Description: The Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC) recognized World Hearing Day 2023 by conducting comprehensive hearing screenings and sharing informative audio-visual presentations about proper ear care and hearing loss prevention. This was targeted towards hospital employees and the community members of Barangay Escopa, a suburban area of Quezon City, Philippines. Partnership with barangay officials was established for upcoming primary and hearing care initiatives. Various hearing screening methods were employed, including the hearWHO app, manual and automated screening audiometers. Meanwhile, educational video clips about ear care and hearing loss prevention were shown to those waiting in line.
