Title: Free Distribution of 100 Hearing Aids

Description:

The Hearing Rotary Action Group previously donated over 300 hearing aids to the Vintage Hearing Foundation, but high costs hindered distribution. These aids were eventually distributed during the World Hearing Day celebration, orchestrated by the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo. During this event, a member of our organization shared their personal journey from having hearing challenges to becoming an advocate for hearing solutions. Over 200 individuals responded to our invitations via radio and social media for ear checks and hearing tests. Despite the impressive turnout, we were only able to distribute 112 hearing aids before financial constraints required us to end the event. National press covered the event widely, including publishing an interview in the local newspaper. It was a delightful event for all involved.
