The Shruti E.N.T. Super Specialty Hospital & Cochlear Implant Center successfully carried out an awareness campaign to emphasize the significance of otoacoustic emissions (OAE) screening for newborns. Complimentary newborn hearing screenings were offered and a presentation for pediatricians was organized to foster an understanding of the importance of hearing screenings for both patients and other healthcare providers. The event saw the center’s audiologist perform approximately 72 OAE screenings in various hospitals based in Surat, India while the presentation for physicians was attended by 46 pediatricians. With the audiologist’s assistance, the marketing team effectively accomplished the campaign’s goal.
