Title: Workshop World Hearing Day
Description: A workshop themed “Ear and hearing care for all! Let’s make it a reality”, aligned with World Hearing Day, took place on March 6, 2023. The event, which ran from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, was attended by 70 primary health care professionals comprising of general practitioners, medical officers, pediatricians, ENT nurses, speech and language therapists, and school health nurses. Attendees received WHO resource materials in digital format. Additionally, local Arabic radio and online social media platforms were employed to raise public awareness about hearing health. A senior ENT consultant even hosted an informative talk show on local radio as part of the initiative.
