Title: World Hearing Day “Ear and Hearing Problems in Primary Care” Webinar
Description: On March 4, 2023, the WHO Collaborating Centre for Prevention of Deafness and Hearing Impairment INO-19 collaborated with the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Department at the RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital with the faculty of medicine at the University of Indonesia, and the Public Health Office of Jakarta Province to conduct a webinar. The event, attended by 412 general practitioners from across Indonesia, aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of primary care doctors in Jakarta in accordance with the WHO’s primary ear and hearing care training manual. The webinar covered various topics, including early detection and hearing screening in primary care, common ear problems in daily practice, hearing and balance issues in the elderly, and how hearing problems can impact the quality of life of the elderly.
