The aim was to generate new words to improve communication between healthcare professionals and the hearing-impaired, fostering inclusion, education, and scientific culture in individuals with severe hearing loss. Participants included ENT doctors, hearing loss researchers, academia members, sign language users, and patient association representatives. Following the discussion, there was a spirited dialogue between panelists and attendees.
