Title: Health Service of Ear Screening and Cleaning at Senior High School and Kindergarten
Description: To honor World Hearing Day, Komda PGPKT Papua sponsored several educational activities. The goal of these events was to educate the younger generations about the potential dangers of excessive noise and ear health maintenance through regular check-ups and cleanings. A talk with a local ENT specialist was available live via Instagram regarding the use of headphones for online listening and a presentation was organized for adolescents to counsel the group on the consequences of prolonged loud noise exposure on hearing. Additionally, ear screenings and cleanings were made available for a group of local high schoolers and kindergarten-aged children.
