Title: Ear and hearing care for all! Let’s avoid hearing loss problems
Description: A comprehensive campaign was carried out by the center to address ear and hearing problems. This initiative, which included free hearing screenings in eight major cities, primarily took place on the globally recognized WHD 2023, but also continued throughout March in four cities. Hundreds of people were able to have their hearing checked as a result of this initiative. Further, individuals also had the opportunity to avail free appointments with hearing professionals, and tests for auditory issues in children. The center used media outreach to spread information, conducting interviews and publishing press releases in around 50 media outlets. The campaign’s efforts to increase awareness about hearing health were promoted on their website and social media channels, using resources from a global health organization.
