Title: world hearing day 2023, hearing care for everybody
Description: Our hospital dispatched a team to four communities in collaboration with the Fengtai Disabled Persons’ Federation for World Hearing Day. The team, composed of senior doctors and audiologists, provides lectures, ear checks, free hearing screenings, and hearing aid consultations for the elderly, with over 700 individuals participating. On March 3, 2023 we hosted a “Hearing Health Publicity and Consultation Day” at our Shouda ENT Hospital of Beijing. Here, otologists interacted with patients through Q&A sessions and conducted ear endoscopies. Furthermore, we set up a large poster wall in the hospital’s main hall, which was displayed for a month, and distributed 1000 leaflets containing information on seven common ear diseases. Additionally, we conducted a series of online lectures titled, “Ear Doctors Have Something to Say,” enabling seven senior doctors to connect with 40,000 fans on WeChat.
