Title: ‘The Prevention of Ear Disease & Hearing Loss in Primary Care’ Seminar & Training
Description: The Aceh Besar Committee of EHC/PGPKT conducted a workshop for primary health care doctors to enhance their skills in preventing ear diseases and hearing loss. The training was attended by 69 health workers from 12 primary healthcare facilities, including one from Pidie Jaya Health. Seminars and training covered topics like extraction of cerumen, simple hearing loss detection in infants and children, otoacoustic emission testing, and an overview of audiogram interpretation. Notable attendees included the Deputy Regent of Pidie Jaya and the Head of Aceh Provincial Health Office. The collaboration involved EHC Aceh Province, the provincial and district health offices, the ENT-HNS Study Program at Syiah Kuala University, members of the regional government, and PT Nobel.
