Title: Ear and hearing care for all
Description: TingLian Hearing, a professional association for hearing specialists, hosted a series of initiatives during World Hearing Day to enhance public understanding of ear and hearing health across China’s major cities. Over 200,000 consultations on hearing health and rehabilitation were given to those in need. We also distributed more than 15,000 brochures and donated numerous hearing aids to people who couldn’t afford them. In collaboration with local communities and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation, we facilitated over 500 hearing health seminars, reaching over 30,000 people. Approximately 14,000 individuals received free hearing screenings, with 10% identified as having hearing loss, a number of whom opted for treatment or amplification.
