Title: awareness day about noise health risks prevention in a primary school

Description:

The National Consumption Institute, in collaboration with ANCSEP, conducted an informative day at a primary school in Grand-Tunis as part of a national consumer education program. The event aimed to raise awareness amongst 11-12-year-old students about the risks associated with noise exposure, including hearing loss. A variety of competitions were held to encourage best practices for protecting ears and hearing, and prizes were awarded. Key messages were conveyed to discourage the harmful use of devices like Walkmans and smartphones for listening to music. In addition, the award-winning short film “Skat” from the 2021 Health Educationnel Film Festival was shown to the students and posted on ANCSEP’s Facebook page. A translated version of the WHO’s “Tips for Healthy Ears” poster was also shared on the Facebook pages of the Ministry of Health and ANCSEP.
