Title: World Hearing Day work report of Nanjing BenQ Medical center in 2023
Description: This year, we commemorated World Hearing Day with various public welfare activities aimed at promoting safe ear usage. The initiatives included an educational live-stream by Aji Lion (the BenQ Medical Center’s mascot) on age-related hearing loss and newborn ear deformities. We also partnered with community health service centers to provide elder care, conduct hearing tests, and research hearing impairment and cognitive function in the elderly. Furthermore, we participated in free clinic activities organized by the Disabled Persons’ Federation of Jianye District and offered nursing home clinic services in the community. An online live surgical lecture on treating pulsatile tinnitus with sinus wall reconstruction for sigmoid sinus was also conducted. Our mission is to continue promoting ear and hearing health through multidimensional and in-depth approaches.
