Description: In honor of World Hearing Day 2023 and National Love Your Ears Day, the ENT department of Tianjin First Central Hospital in Tianjin, China collaborated with local and national TV and radio stations to conduct ear and hearing care awareness campaigns, shedding light on the causes and prevention of hearing loss. They also offered tips on maximizing hearing capabilities if one is already experiencing hearing loss, as well as advice on avoiding excessive and damaging levels of noise. Complementing these efforts, free consultations were extended to the elderly, focusing on their auditory health. Organized initiatives provided services like pure tone audiometry and speech audiometry to this demographic, helping them understand and better manage their hearing capabilities.
