Description: In Brazil, a notable doctor and a peer discussed the importance of hearing prevention across all age groups on a popular radio station. The doctor also participated in a social media live session with a renowned Audiologist, during which they unveiled new filters for public use on a prominent photo-sharing platform. Hearing care professionals, wearing commemorative shirts, administered treatment to patients and distributed informational bookmarks. Concurrently, in Portugal, the same doctor conducted a lecture at a well-known Music University and to a group of educators and parents in schools within the capital. The doctor also oversaw a hands-on activity from a well-known hearing safety program for middle school students at a British School in a coastal town. A local artist contributed to the cause by creating a beach art installation, highlighting the slogan of the hearing awareness day.
