Description: University Hospital KDU (UH KDU) recently implemented a hearing screening initiative for their healthcare staff, successfully identifying and referring several employees with hearing concerns for further treatment. This initiative was part of a larger awareness campaign aimed at educating staff, patients, and hospital visitors about the importance of proper hearing care. The campaign also included the display of WHO-designed posters about hearing care around the hospital and featured the expertise of a consultant ENT surgeon at UH KDU, who participated in several TV programs and wrote newspaper articles discussing hearing care to draw public attention to World Hearing Day.
