Description: During the week leading to World Hearing Day (WHD) on March 3, CBM highlighted the importance of ear and hearing care (EHC) through various online platforms. CBM published articles on its website and intranet, including a blog post about its contributions to EHC in Madagascar since 2017, and shared an informative video that aligns with the World Report on Hearing. CBM also conducted an interactive webinar titled “Can you hear me?” on March 1, 2023, hosted by CBM advisors Dr. Diego Santana and Dr. Uta Fröschl. The webinar, targeted at CBM regional and country directors and program officers worldwide, was designed to raise awareness, advocate for, and promote local interventions to strengthen EHC across CBM’s priority countries, not just on WHD, but throughout the year.
