Description: On April 6, 2023, a specialist with the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia led a seminar on the impact of noise on hearing loss to commemorate World Health Day 2023. The seminar, which was attended by 996 individuals, including health professionals, students, and 43 cross-sector regional ENT doctors, focused on the threat of deafness due to noise exposure, noise hazards to workers, and the role of the EHC/PGPKT committee in preventing noise-induced hearing loss. It also emphasized the importance of hearing health for workers and the need to work together to prevent hearing loss and deafness in school children. The discussions helped identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing programs, paving the way for informed discussions on effective solutions.
