To heighten awareness regarding noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) among policymakers, various activities were initiated in multiple Army Hospitals across Jakarta, Bandung, and Semarang. These included the donation of 150 hearing aids for veterans, complimentary ear screening, educational programs on noise in the military, webinars on ear and hearing care, donation of cochlear implants and complimentary surgeries, and Army PHC Training on cerumen extraction. These efforts, coordinated for World Hearing Day 2023, serve to emphasize the necessity of the Army EHC/PGPKT Committee in addressing significant ear and hearing health issues.
