Description: Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology organized various initiatives to promote ear and hearing care in celebration of World Hearing Day 2023. These included training for school teachers and administrative staff, a street play highlighting the significance of ear care, common causes of hearing loss, and the vital role of universal newborn hearing screenings. Additionally, the use of newspaper articles extended the outreach to a broader audience. Cumulatively, these efforts successfully educated over 605,000 individuals about ear and hearing care.
