Title: Walk-a-thon
Description: For World Hearing Day 2023, a walk-a-thon was organized at Kozhikode Beach to promote the theme of “Ear & Hearing care for all, Let’s make it a reality.” This event was a collaborative effort by the Department of ENT at Govt Medical College (GMC) Kozhikode, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) of Kozhikode, the National Initiative for Safe Sound (NISS), the Association of Otolaryngologists of India Kozhikode branch, and Malabar Chapter, all expressing their commitment to this cause. The initiative was launched by the principal of the college and was followed by enlightening talks by renowned medical professionals. These discussions served to increase awareness and understanding about World Hearing Day. The event, held on March 3, 2023, was marked by the participation of esteemed ENT surgeons, audiologists, speech therapists, postgraduates, and students of GMC Kozhikode.
