Title: Ear and Hearing Care for All! Let’s Make it a Reality
Description: In recognition of World Hearing Day, our team at the Usmanu Danfodiyo Unversity Teaching Hispital in Sokoto, Nigeria conducted a plublic lecture to educate the general public and stakeholders on the importance of hearing, common causes of hearing impairment in the area, and what measures can be taken to prevent these conditions. The event, which was widely disseminated through live multimedia coverage, included screenings to diagnose and treat various ear conditions. Cases identified as complex were referred to specialized centers for further treatment.
