Title: World Hearing Day Activities 2023
Description: From February 28th to March 3rd, 2023, a series of activities were conducted to promote ear and hearing care. These activities kicked off with live radio broadcasts on Correct FM, Freedom Radio, and Liberty Radio over several days. These broadcasts were complemented by daily health talks at the ENT clinic and general outpatient departments of the hospital and educational posters adapted from WHO materials were shared via social media. Along with these, an online presentation on ototoxicity was offered to primary healthcare workers across Nigeria. Raising public awareness was further emphasized through a press conference. Lastly, a strategic advocacy visit to the executive director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency was made to discuss the integration of ear and hearing care services into the primary healthcare system nationwide.
