Description: On World Hearing Day, various activities were conducted to raise public awareness about hearing health. These include spreading awareness through print media and electronic media interviews. In a show of innovation, the “Gift of Hearing” or “Hearing Screening on Wheels” was launched, featuring a unique soundproof van for mobile hearing screenings. This first-of-its-kind mobile unit is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and hearing screening equipment and includes screening ABR, screening OAE, impedance audiometer, and pure tone capabilities. Additionally, free hearing screening camps were organized, providing accessible and cost-effective hearing health services to the public. These efforts collectively aim to promote hearing health and prevent hearing loss.
