Title: Hearing Care for All, Let’s Make a Joint Effort to Make it a Reality
Description: A project was initiated to promote hearing health care awareness in underprivileged areas of Benin and DR Congo. Our partners from Bohicon (Benin) and Goma (RD Congo) helped prepare the project. A preliminary evaluation was conducted through a Google Doc questionnaire to understand the accessibility of hearing health care, the implications of hearing loss, and prevention methods. This was followed by a virtual discussion over Zoom to disseminate the findings and provide a platform for our partner in Benin to share the situation in his community. The focus was on addressing hearing loss, specifically targeting children and their education. The discussion was recorded and is due to be published on our YouTube channel to reach a wider audience.
