Title: World Hearing Day 2023: Ear & Hearing Care for All
Description: In March 2023, VConnect Foundation commemorated World Hearing Day with a month-long celebration. The celebrations commenced with the dissemination of awareness materials on social media and WhatsApp parent support groups. A high-profile supporter further amplified our message on March 3, 2023, by sharing our post. Engaging activities such as art and poetry contests were organized for children. The foundation also conducted a hearing camp at a deaf school on Mumbai’s outskirts, providing tests for nineteen children. Recognition was given to nine outstanding contributors, with certificates of honor awarded. Additionally, two news articles featuring VConnect’s initiatives were published in separate community weeklies.
